Dr. Oz: Promote Eyelash Growth & Thickness

Why do your eyelashes get thinner as you get older?  Dr. Oz says that eyelashes fall out within 3 months (hence why eyelashes are not as long as the hair on your head), but sometimes malnourishment, allergic reactions and makeup can make eyelashes fall out even sooner.

Dr. Oz mentioned using Latisse, a prescription medication to lengthen your eyelashes, but it darkens your eye color (especially if you have light colored eyes).  I am reluctant to try something like this, but I did find a great home remedy that uses Vaseline (petroleum jelly) to lengthen and thicken your eyelashes!
