Dr Oz: Boar Brush Review
Another way to tell the true age of your hair is by doing the Shine Test, which can be done right at home.
- Pull out a strand of hair and put it in a bowl of water for 5 minutes. If your hair floats, it is young, but if it sinks it is aging too fast.
To bring the shine back to your hair Rodney recommends using a Boar brush from scalp to ends.
Shine Fix Mask: Mix ½ a mashed avocado with 1 egg and apply to hair for 20 minutes once a week.
Rinse your hair with cool water just before getting out of the shower to seal the cuticle.
Dr Oz: Moisturize Hair Using Argan Oil
The next complaint many women have is that they have texture problems due to frequent coloring of unwanted gray hair. Rodney Cutler explains this is caused by constant color treating, which leads to dry hair that looks coarse and wiry.
- Use a sulfate-free shampoo.
- Apply Argan Oil daily to wet hair.
