First, Dr Oz talked about Dry Hands. How can you tell whether your skin is too dry? Place a piece of tape on the back of your hand. When you pull it off, do you see a lot of flakes? If so, that means your skin is dry and needs to be moisturized.
The best part about his solution to this problem is that you can literally do it in your sleep. Step one is to place a Humidifier in the bedroom to ensure there is enough moisture circulating around you at night.
Step two is to apply moisturizing cream or lotion to your hands right before you head to bed. Then, wear cotton gloves over your hands to let the moisture soap in while you rest. You can find cotton gloves in the beauty section of many stores.
Dr Oz: Winter Hair Frizz Remedy
How do you winter-proof frizzy hair? Dr Oz talked with an audience member who is fed up with static. He said you can use a dryer sheet to remove the sting and cling so that you can love your locks once again. You probably will want to choose a fragrance-free dryer sheet for this.
To prevent future frizz, you can try adding Silicone-Based Serum after taking a shower, while your hair is still wet. Then you would just style your hair normally.
Dr Oz: Saline Drops Moisturize Eyes
Cold winds whipping around can sometimes make your eyes sting. To help your eyes look and feel their best during winter, Dr Oz recommended Saline Drops. Use them to lubricate your eyes. Contact lens wearers could probably substitute contact solution, if desired.
