Dr Oz: What Your Brush Says About Your Hair + Dislike Facebook

Dr Oz: Dislike Button On Facebook?

The way you look at Facebook could be changing forever, especially if the rumors are true about installing a dislike button. The audience was split about whether a dislike button was good or bad, explaining that it could be good for connecting with those going through a hard time, but it could also hurt someone’s self esteem. Dr Oz explained that when you like something, it’s six times more powerful to share that personally rather than virtually.

Dr Oz: What Does Your Hair Brush Say About Your Hair

Do you know what your hair brush would say about your hair? Dr Oz then welcomed Curly Nikki, who said we are too often, so “rude” to our hair, with all the blow-drying, coloring, and treating. There’s some health secrets that you can learn from your very own hair brush.

Nikki then shared a trick for telling how much hair you’re actually losing. Grab a section of hair, about as big as what would fit through a straw, and then take you hair brush and stroke through three times and look at your brush. Count how many hairs came out. If you have more than six hairs, you could be in active hair loss.

One common reason for hair loss is anemia or low iron, which especially happens after pregnancy. Hormonal changes and an autoimmune disease coiuld be contributing to hair loass as well. If you’re losing that much hair, try talking to you doctor to see what can be done about your hair loss.
