Non-dairy milk is a billion dollar industry, and different types of milk have different health benefits. But before getting to those, Dr Oz talked about classic cow’s milk. One cup gives you 30% of your daily value of calcium. He suggested drinking organic cow’s milk.

Dr Oz compared four types of non-dairy milk that are widely available, based on nutritional benefits. Try Almond Milk, Soy Milk, Coconut Milk and Flax Milk.
If you are lactose intolerant or just don’t like milk, there are plenty of other options. Doctor Oz highlighted four options.
Almond Milk is fantastic for the skin and has the highest calcium value of any non-dairy milk. Its Vitamin E is an antioxidant, and it can protect you against sun damage.
Dr Oz: Soy Milk for Metabolism
Soy Milk contains the highest protein of the non-dairy milks on this list. This can keep your metabolism going strong, and Dr Oz said you can use it on cereal. It has a slightly sweeter taste than cow’s milk.
Dr Oz: Coconut Milk Energy
Coconut Milk (from a carton, not a can) is good for energy. Dr Oz compared it to skim milk and explained that it has fats that the body easily breaks down. It tastes good, fills you up, and gives you energy all at once.
Dr Oz: Flax Milk Brain Benefits
Most of us are not getting enough Omega-3s in our diets, and Flax Milk can help you to boost your brain power. Flaxseeds are a natural source of Omega-3s, and he said this is the best non-dairy option for that purpose.
