When it comes to picking out a grapefruit, it turns out that the color of the skin isn’t as important as you may think. Instead, you want to look for one that has as few blemishes as possible. Also, the heavier the better because it means it has more juice. You should also look for pink or red grapefruits because they are higher in antioxidants.

Dr Oz: A New Way To Cut Grapefruit
To save time and money as well as to avoid splashing fruit all over you, try cutting your grapefruit a whole new way. First, cut off the top of the grapefruit then flip it over and cut off the bottom. Then, while it balances on the sliced bottom, cut into wheels for much easier eating!
Even better than that, try this new way of drinking your grapefruit. Into a pitcher add ice, tequila, broiled Florida grapefruit juice, and club soda and then garnish with salt and sliced grapefruit.
