Dr Oz: Protein for Breakfast
Dr Oz also discussed eating Protein for breakfast. Doing so could help you reduce your calorie intake at lunchtime by more than 1/4. That could add up to 16 fewer pounds over the course of a year.
Try getting 30 grams of Protein at breakfast, maybe from a combination of two eggs and plain yogurt.
Dr Oz: Carbohydrates for Dinner
When is the best time to eat carbohydrates? According to Dr Oz, that would be dinnertime. He said that is because eating carbs earlier will make you more hungry throughout the day, possibly prompting you to eat more.
Carbs may also help you sleep better, but it’s still ideal to choose complex carbs such as sweet potatoes or quinoa.
Dr Oz: Dark Chocolate Coffee
What about cheat foods or treats? Dr Oz said the best time for these is around 2 p.m. The body’s natural Circadian Rhythm means your desire to sleep may be the strongest at midnight.
