Dr. Oz told his audience he would share his favorite “F” word with them if they would “show” him theirs. He gave everyone a piece of paper, so they could write them down. From food to friends and one word that was not appropriate for television, everyone got in on the fun, especially one woman who said her favorite “F” word is farting.

After Dr. Oz took a look at his audience’s favorite “F” words he then shared his, which was “fasting”, and then he explained why he loves it so much. First and foremost, Dr. Oz says fasting is not about starving yourself. It is about eating the right foods at the right time, so he shared the health benefits when you fast correctly.

Dr Oz: Fast While You Sleep
Dr. Oz offered a plan to fast that will help you lose weight, give you more energy and improve your overall health. Here is what you need to do:
- No eating between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.
- Eat breakfast at 8 a.m.
- Enjoy lunch around noon
- Have a light snack at 2 in the afternoon
- Eat an early dinner between 4 and 5 p.m.
- Have a snack at exactly 8 p.m. so you will be done eating for the day
- If you have something at 8 p.m. make it something simple like water or herbal tea.
