Dr Oz: F Bomb or Fat Bomb Recipes
With so many diet fads out there, it can be hard to find one that will work for you. Lately, it seems like the one thing getting all sorts of attention is the Fat Bomb (or F Bomb). Dr Oz said that Fat Bombs (also called F Bombs) are high-fat, low-carb snacks that can help you shut down cravings and lose weight. It helps that they’re super delicious too!
Dr Oz: Coconut Oil or Almond Butter Fat Bombs
Lenelle lost 45 pounds with the help of fat bombs, while Cathie lost 77 pounds! Lenelle’s favorite fat bomb was a mixture of coconut oil with a little sweetener, almond butter, and sometimes avocado. Cathie’s favorite was a combination of almond butter, almonds, and semisweet chocolate chips. They would use the fat bombs in between meals to fight cravings and control their hunger.

You can find recipes for fat bombs all over the internet which is why Dr Oz wanted to ask nutritionist Kellyann Petrucci whether consuming these fat bombs was actually a good idea. Fortunately, she explained that they are because they’re made from high fat, low carbohydrate, and low sugar ingredients to make a treat that’s good for you. The most important thing everyone needs to know is that in order for them to work in your favor, they should be eaten as part of a low-carbohydrate diet and you can’t eat too many.

Dr Oz: How To Make A Fat Bomb
So how do you know what sort of fat bomb would work best for you? It’s important to understand that the base of every fat bomb is a healthy fat. You can use coconut oil, almond butter, mayonnaise, or avocado. They help stabilize your blood sugar which in turn makes you feel much better overall.
Once you have a healthy fat as a base, you want to choose some add-ins for flavor. Kellyann suggested ginger, cinnamon, lemon, chocolate, stevia, or cacao chips. Then for a filling, you can go for a sweet or savory taste. Some options for fillings include sun-dried tomatoes, eggs, olives, salmon, cacao nibs, chia seeds, almonds, walnuts, or coconut.
Perhaps the best thing about fat bombs is that you can use them as a meal replacement or a snack. They might make for one easier breakfast for people on the go first thing in the morning.
