She said the key is to start by eliminating gluten, soy, dairy, corn, alcohol, and sugar. These are common inflammatory foods. After cutting these out, you can focus on meals to help restore the balance of the gut.

Mia asked Dr. Myers how to get her bloating under control. She said she feels bloated three to four times per week. Dr. Myers’s fix for Mia was focusing on beating infections, because inflammation can come from bacterial infections of the gut.
She suggested an avocado loaded with salmon and lemon juice. The avocado helps reduce inflammation because of its healthy fats, lemon has antimicrobial properties, and the salmon has Omega-3s that helps fight infections.
Dr. Myers said when you cut out the foods she mentioned, you might see bloating disappear immediately, but it also might take a few weeks,
Dr. Oz: Beat Constipation
Next, Dr. Oz and Dr. Myers talked about how to beat constipation. Dr. Myers said we need lots of fiber to beat constipation. One meal is cooked kale and cabbage with sweet onions, tumeric and ginger. This meal is packed with fiber and it might just get you unstuck.
Dr. Myers said that all women need at least 25 grams of fiber per day.
Dr. Oz: How to Fix Gas
Finally, Dr. Myers and Dr. Oz tackled gas. How do we get rid of it? Dr. Myers suggested she have a salad made of field greens, chicken, ginger, and coconut flakes with olive oil dressing. These ingredients all team up to beat bacterial infection in the gut and inflammation in the body. This is a winning combo to help relieve the gas.
