Dr Oz: Healthy Breakfast Cereals
So now we know about Cancer Superfoods to add to our diets, but are you looking to lose weight by doing almost nothing at all? (Yeah, me too!) Doctor Oz is joined by Nutritionist, Heidi Skolnik, to show you how to eat cereal to help you lose weight. Heidi says regular, sugary cereals can be almost as much as eating 5 slices of bread. The trick is to find cereals for under 100 calories and spruce them up! Plus, read about Dr Oz’s Microwave Breakfast Recipes, which seem to be a big hit among his fans!

Dr Oz spoke about healthy breakfast cereals, like a delicious Peanut Butter Oatmeal recipe that is ready in minutes!
Dr Oz: Shredded Wheat Greek Yogurt Recipe
Bet you didn’t know eating cereal can help you lose weight! Nutritionist, Heidi Skolnik says the trick is portion control. Place ½ cup of Shredded Wheat on top of 4 oz Greek yogurt. Add in some honey and walnuts for a little crunch. (The Greek yogurt contains protein.) You’ll get a delicious snack with only 100 calories of cereal.
Dr Oz: Peanut Butter Instant Oatmeal Recipe
Basic instant oatmeal is a delicious hot cereal for under 100 calories. Heidi says the trick is to look for the right kind. Some instant oatmeal contains 12 g of added sugar—and that’s even before you add anything to it. For a fat busting breakfast, try a pack of Quaker instant oatmeal and add 1Tbsp of peanut butter. Drop in some fruit and you have a yummy meal!
Do Cheerios Help You Lose Weight?
One cup of Cheerios has less than 100 calories. For a yummy breakfast, add 1 tsp of raw cane sugar to 1 cup of Cheerios. Pour in 1% milk and you have a low calorie breakfast. (You can add some raw fruit if you like.)
Dr Oz: Arrowhead Puffed Wheat Review
Let’s face it, puffed wheat isn’t the greatest cereal to chow down on, but to make it bearable, Heidi suggested mixing puffed wheat with your regular sugary cereal. To keep calories down, try 1 cup of Arrowhead Puffed Wheat cereal. Then add ¼ cup of your sweet cereal. (If you had the full serving of the sugary cereal, you’d have way more sugar and calories to burn—and who wants that?)
