Dr. Oz: Robin Quivers
Robin Quivers came by Dr. Oz to talk about her 70 pound weight loss and cancer journey. She’s best known for her appearances on The Howard Stern Show. Robin said the events of 9/11 woke her up and made her want to lose weight. She switched to a plant-based diet and it changed her life.
Dr. Oz: Robin Quivers 12-Hour Cancer Surgery
The last time she was on Dr. Oz, she had gone through a 12-hour cancer surgery. Now, she feels great and all the scans have been negative. Her blood work is good. Robin said she thought she’s doing so well because of how healthy she is now.

But she used to be a lot less healthy. She was 70 pounds heavier and felt like a failure all the time. She tried a fast to lose weight and realized the food she was eating caused her to feel unhappy. That’s why she turned vegan. Now, her book The Vegucation of Robin is out in paperback. The book goes over the practical things she did to survive cancer and lose weight.
Dr. Oz: Robin Quivers Vegan Diet
Robin Quivers went over her daily diet. She begins her day with a smoothie made from almond milk, almond butter, and peaches. This smoothie is filling and tasty.
For a mid-morning snack, she has olives and carrots. She’ll have a broccoli soup for lunch and eat nuts for a midday snack. She also makes a green juice to go with the nuts. For dinner, she’ll have lentils with oven-roasted tomatoes and Brussels sprouts.
Robin Quivers said Brussels sprouts are her favorite vegetables and she never would’ve touched them before becoming a vegan. But she assured us they’re delicious when handled well! Robin Quivers actually recently ran a marathon, something she was able to do because of the wonderful health this diet has provided.
