Fitness Guru, Katie Boyd, has been a curve crusader for years. When she was 18-years-old, she became a personal trainer. She was ripped apart because she didn’t have the standard body of many trainers. She had curves. Katie says you don’t have to be thin to be in shape. When she was younger, she used to be in pageants and starved herself. Today, she was teaching girls how to be proud of their bodies, and one of the best way to accentuate curves is to dance.
Dr Oz: Booty Blast
The Booty Blast will help tone your backside and bring out your inner goddess. To do, stand with your feet apart in a plié like stance. Do a squat. The sequence is squat, squat, roll the hips, roll the hips.
Dr Oz: Hip Hop Hips
Want to tone those hips? The Hip Hop Hips move should do it. To do, pump to the left and then to the right (one, two, one and two). Do this while moving the arms in the opposite direction. Then, do the same while bringing up the left knee first and connect it with the right elbow. Then, bring up the right knee and connect it with the left elbow.
Dr Oz: Waist Whittle
Burn away that middle with the Waist Whittle. To do, stand with your feet apart. Do a cha-cha move to the front and then kick back with the right foot. Do another cha-cha move to the front and kick back with the left foot. The cha-cha motion uses the hip muscles and the kick back uses the butt and hamstring muscles.
Dr Oz: Curvy Girl Celebration
To celebrate those moves (and almost being done your workout!) do the Curvy Girl Celebration. To do, move body in a circular motion while waving your hands in the air in a celebratory fashion. This works the arms and the mid-section.
