Dr Oz: Shaun T Surprises Lisa Oz
Dr Oz was absolutely thrilled to play a joke on his wife Lisa. Lisa Oz thought she was joining the show to share some of her and her husband’s favorite yoga moves, but Dr Oz actually had a pretty big surprise in store for her. As Lisa began the segment, fitness instructor Shaun T walked out, shocking her. Lisa loves the fact that Shaun knows how to make workouts fun and admitted she will watch his infomercials late at night while in bed with Dr Oz!
Shaun then put Lisa and Dr Oz, as well as three audience members through a hip-hop fitness workout, leading them to clap and stomp their feet to the beat. Dr Oz, of course, put on his lip-biting “cool face” while Lisa was really into learning the steps needed to workout with her favorite fitness guru!
Dr Oz: Healthy Swaps + Treat Day
Shaun T is the man behind the Insanity workout, and he joined Dr Oz to share that he lost 50 pounds just by dancing, which is why he wants to pay it forward now. As well as dancing, he also ate the right foods, explaining that he eats 85% healthy and indulges 15% of the time. As much as Shaun loves baked potatoes, he began swapping them out for sweet potatoes. He also swapped spaghetti for spaghetti squash.
For the other 15%, he has a treat day, saying you shouldn’t look at it like a cheat day, causing yourself to feel guilty. Treat yourself!
Dr Oz: Shaun T Cize Dance & Work Out Program
Shaun recently launched CIZE, which is a new workout program. He explained that it’s not about the size of your body, but it’s about how you want to move. Exercise doesn’t have to be a bunch of power moves, so he created a workout that allows you to dance and have fun. Shaun was actually inspired by everyday movements to create dance moves, which means they’re moves that anyone can do! He even improvised, making some dance moves inspired by walking the dog, talking on the phone, and washing the dishes!
