Dr Oz: Dandelion Root Natural Diuretic
Dr. Oz is talking to the 4-Hour Man, Tim Ferriss, on his show today. They are focusing on easy ways to give you more energy, one of which includes an edible dirt recipe. Would you eat dirt if it could give you more energy? Doctor Oz tried it and he says it tastes good, but take a look at the recipe and give it a try for yourself. Tim Ferriss’s 4-Hour Energy Boosting Plan has also included a few ways to give yourself much needed energy during that common afternoon slump that so many of us experience. His tips are easy and take just a few minutes each, so you have nothing to lose, but possibly a whole lot of energy to gain.
Dr Oz: Tim Ferriss Kettlebell Exercise for Energy Boost

Tim Ferriss says that Dandelion Root not only gives you more energy, but it also helps to remove excess water in the body, making a safe and natural diuretic.
Tim Ferriss says that for a quick burst of energy his favorite exercise is a kettlebell swing. He says you can even use a milk jug for this exercise. He says to do 50-75 swings just a few times a week for a quick energy boost that could replace your morning cup of coffee. Tim says that that this exercise activates the hips and excites your nervous system, which will give you that boost of energy, but it will also burn calories and trim fat.
Tim Ferriss’s Energy Boosting Tonic
Tim Ferriss says that Dandelion Root not only gives you more energy, but it also helps to relieve bloating by getting rid of excess water from your body. Tim explains that you just about 1 to 1½ tablespoons of ground dandelion root and brew it just like you would brew coffee. The taste is very bitter, which is something many people do not like, so you can add a small amount of coconut milk to make it taste better.
