Dr. Oz: Clear Chest Congestion with Eucalyptus Oil
Dr. Oz talked about fast natural remedies for common health problems. First, there was a chest congestion remedy you can do at home. All you need is some eucalyptus oil and some really hot water. Pour the water in a heat safe bowl and add a few drops of eucalyptus oil. Press your face close to the water, drape a towel over your head to trap the steam, and breathe in deeply. It will clear out your system and your pores.
Dr. Oz: Clear a Stuffy Nose

To clear a stuffy nose, make a spice shot. Add a little bit of horseradish, ketchup, and some lemon juice to a small shot and eat it quickly, either by itself or with a shrimp cocktail. This will make your nose run right away. Dr. Oz did this and he didn’t seem to like it, but the Dr. Oz viewer who suggested it said it really walks.
Dr. Oz: Get Rid of a Cough
The next viewer had a solution for a cough. It’s a combination of thyme, honey, and milk. This will help you sleep and calm you down. Dr. Oz said honey is a proven cough suppressant, so the science behind this one is sound.
Dr. Oz: Treat a Runny Nose at Home
To treat a runny nose at home, mince some garlic and swallow a spoonful of it with some water. The viewer who suggested this said she does this whenever she feels a cold coming on and it’s worked many times for her to prevent that cold from happening.
