Dr. Oz: Mario Cantone Bad Breath
Dr. Oz talked with comedian Mario Cantone about the biggest embarrassing health problems. Mario Cantone was sitting inside a gigantic mouth because he wanted to know about bad breath in the morning.
Mario said he brushes and he flosses before bed. Dr. Oz said this is good, but your tongue traps bacteria from the food you’ve been eating. That’s what causes bad breath in the morning. Dr. Oz said it’s important to not only brush your tongue, but use a tongue scraper to get rid of the bacteria. If you really want to get rid of it, it’s also important to scrape your tongue after every meal.
Dr. Oz: How to Stop Thighs From Rubbing Together
Next, Dr. Oz and Mario talked to Angelique, who has a problem called “thigh swoosh,” which is when your thighs rub together and cause chafing. Angelique gets embarrassed when she wears shorts because of thigh swoosh.
Mario suggested Angelique wear thigh bands, which protect the skin on the thighs and prevent blisters.
Dr. Oz: Acne on the Behind
Jessica wrote Dr. Oz about the acne on her behind. She wanted to know how to get rid of it, so Dr. Oz asked a dermatologist for answers, Dr. Jeanine Downie. She said that this happens when the weather is hot outside. It’s caused by blocked pores on our rear ends.
To treat this acne, talk to your dermatologist about a topical antibiotic. If you have a more mild cause, you could try an over-the-counter salicylic acid wash or a benzoyl peroxide product directly over the area. Make sure to wear breathable underwear so the skin can breathe. But above all, make sure not to pop them because it can get infected.
Dr. Oz: Hairy Toes
Dr. Oz talked to Gladys in his audience, who has some fuzz on the top of her toes. Dr. Oz said that hair on the toes means that you have great circulation. He said that people are hard on themselves about things that are natural that we have no control over. He suggested she embrace her hairy toes.
