The bunion wasn’t that big, but it was definitely there. The procedure she underwent to get rid of the bunions fails in about 10 percent of cases. Judge Milian said that she knew that and you have to know your risks when you go under any procedures. Right now, though, she said she’s just going to live with the bunion because the surgery was so painful.
Dr. Oz: Judge Marilyn Milian Strict Parenting
Judge Milian said she’s much stricter at home than she is on the show because she has three teenage daughters. Judge Milian said her husband is a judge as well and they were both prosecutors. Because of that, their kids are very litigious. “Everybody has an opinion in our house,” she said.
She said she keeps tabs on her kids by using the GPS in their iPhones to locate them. She does this through the Find My iPhone app. Dr. Oz said he uses that, too, and he recommends that every parent do this. Judge Milian said she didn’t think it was a violation of privacy, because she pays for the phones.
Dr. Oz: Judge Marilyn Milian Neti Pot
Marilyn had some health questions for Dr. Oz. First up was the neti pot. Is it healthy? Dr. Oz said he loves neti pots. Just make sure to use distilled or filtered water or boiled water you’ve cooled down. Make sure to add salt to it. Tilt your head and pour the water in one nostril, allowing the water to come out the other nostril. Judge Milian actually poured the water into Dr. Oz’s nostril to demonstrate, which was pretty hilarious to watch.
Dr. Oz: Judge Marilyn Milian Stressful Neck Pain
Judge Milian also wondered if there was a pillow solution to her neck pain. Dr. Oz said this pillow doesn’t exist. Instead, she should use a heating pad on her neck with a little lavender on it so the aroma helps her to relax. You also need to have plenty of potassium and magnesium, because these two electrolytes are great for the muscles to stop spasming. He recommended a bowl of yogurt with berries, because the berries have magnesium and yogurt has both magnesium and potassium.
You also need a way to actively stretch the muscle. Roll up a towel and put it behind your head. Not your neck, you head. Pull the towel down, pulling your head forward. Gently pull back with your head to exercise the muscles. That will work perfectly.
