Dr. Oz: Kathie Lee and Hoda
Dr. Oz’s episode was all about 99 new uses for many products. In the past, he’s given us some great uses for things like tea bags and lemons. Today, Kathie Lee and Hoda came by Dr. Oz to talk about 99 new uses for wine. Kathie Lee said that they never have unused wine and she didn’t know why someone wouldn’t just drink it.
Dr. Oz: Use Wine to Clean Vegetable

Dr. Oz’s first new use for wine is from Chelsea on Facebook, who fills a spray bottle with wine and uses it to clean vegetables. The wine kills the bacteria responsible for good poisoning.
“Why would you waste it on vegetables?” Kathie Lee said.
Dr. Oz: Bake Cakes with Wine
Dr. Oz also talked to audience member Maria, who bakes cakes with a little wine in them. Make your favorite chocolate cake recipe and substitute the sugar for honey and add 1 cup red wine. This will make the cake fun and fluffy.
Kathie Lee and Hoda both agreed that Kathie Lee is the better cook, but Kathie Lee admitted she’s not a very good cook at all, which means Hoda is a terrible cook.
Dr. Oz: Wine Foot Bath
Dr. Oz revealed that you can use wine in a relaxing foot bath. It’s used in spas throughout the country.
Kathie Lee commented that Hoda had “the most gorgeous Egyptian feet” and she joked that as a baby, Hoda would soak her feet in the Nile river was a child and when they met, Kathie Lee found her in a basket floating down the river.
While they soaked their feet in the wine, Dr. Oz massaged their feet.
Dr. Oz: Kathie Lee Gifft Wine
Kathie Lee said that two years ago, a man came up to her and said she should be in the wine business. He put her in contact with some people who helped her pick a chardonnay and a rose for her Gifft line. The wine is all under $20 a bottle and it has a screw top.
