Dr. Oz often likes to show us new uses for everyday things, so he showed us a number of uses for tea bags. First up was Jennifer, who said she uses tea bags to alleviate bee sting pain. When Jennifer got stung by a bee, she didn’t know what to do. So she did some research and she found that tea bags can help get rid of the pain from bee stings.
Just brew some tea and then put the tea bag in the freezer for about 5 minutes. Then bring them out and put the tea bag on the bee sting. It’ll soothe your pain and make you feel better.
Dr. Oz: Tea Bags to Look Youthful
Roberta uses tea bags as an anti-ager. When Roberta turned 50, she decided she wanted to look 40. She looked for more natural ways and she found that green tea makes you look great. All you have to do is put three tea bags in steaming hot water and put your face over the bowl with a towel behind your head. Don’t put your face into the bowl, just over it. Keep doing this for about 10 minutes and the steam will open your pores and it will feel great.
Dr. Oz: Tea Bags to Deodorize
Sheryl said she loves drinking lavender tea and she heard some of her friends talking about how lavender tea can really make a fresh smell in the carpet. So she tried it and it really works. She brews the tea and then she lets the bags completely dry out. Then, she opens up the tea bags and pours them out on her carpet. She lets them stay in the carpet for about ten minutes, then she vacuums them up.
Lavender is also a great aroma therapy to reduce stress. Putting it on the carpet makes it smell great for free and it also gives her kids aroma therapy and they don’t even know.
