TV legend Regis Philbin will be on Dr. Oz December 2, 2014, talking about some of his most serious health issues and asking questions only Dr. Oz can answer. What sort of health issues does the incredible TV host have? Find out below!
Dr. Oz: Regis Philbin Chest Pain
It turns out that Regis Philbin’s health issues surround his heart. He describes them as a fire in his chest, which could be something very serious like heart disease or something as simple as heartburn. But he does say the pain keeps him up at night, so it’s serious enough it’s stopping him from sleeping. What solutions will Dr. Oz give Regis?
Well, it seems like Dr. Oz wants to give Regis a lasting impression of what can happen to his heart, so he’ll be showing him a real heart and letting him hold it in his hands. Regis Philbin will, of course, wear the trademark Dr. Oz purple gloves to touch the heart. Will the sight of a heart scare Regis into better health?
Dr. Oz: Regis Philbin Weight Lifting
Finally, Regis will show Dr. Oz some of his own health secrets, such as lifting weights and doing aerobics. In the preview, it looks like Regis Philbin will be lifting weights in a bright blue suit. I guess if you’re going to lift some weights, you might as well do it in style! It reminded me of that episode of How I Met Your Mother, where Marshall asks Regis for the location of a burger joint he’d been unable to find because Regis’s picture was on the wall and Regis told Marshall he was looking for the burger joint, too. In that episode, Regis worked out a lot and played a much more aggressive version of himself. But maybe there was some truth to the weight lifting segment!
Tune into Dr. Oz on December 2, 2014, for all of this and so much more!
