Dr. Oz: Total 10 Snacks
Dr. Oz has been talking about his Total 10 Rapid Weight Loss Plan for almost two weeks now. Today, he unveiled some snack ideas to keep our taste buds satisfied. Jeanine was on the show and she was really excited to try the snacks, because she was missing her bread and butter pickles, snickerdoodles, and salt and vinegar chips.
Dr. Oz said that hummus and veggies, pickles, a handful of nuts, or veggie broth are approved snacks. But for people who need more snack-like snacks, Dr. Oz shared his Cauliflower Kettle Corn recipe, Kale Chips recipe, and his Crunchy Fire Lentils recipe. But remember, you’re only allowed two snacks a day. Dr. Oz warned that if you have snacks all day long and you don’t lose weight, don’t call him.
Check out my attempt to reproduce them below!

- 1 small/medium head cauliflower, cut into small florets
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, liquid
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Dr. Oz: Cauliflower Kettle Corn Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Toss together the cauliflower florets, coconut oil, sea salt, and cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the cauliflower florets mixture on top. Make sure you have plenty of room and that the florets aren’t crowded. If you crowd them, they might not cook the right way and become steamed instead of roasted.
- Cook for about 35 minutes until golden brown and fork tender. About halfway through the cooking time, stir them around a little bit so they don’t cook all on one side.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
