Are you looking to get rid of the weight fast? On today’s show, Doctor Oz was joined by Celebrity Trainer, Dolvett Quince, to show you the ways to flush the fat fast with certain foods.  And if you love fast food, then you should definitely checkout what Dr Oz said were Healthy Fast Food choices.

Dr Oz Chia Seeds Cocktail

Dr Oz spoke about ways to flush fat like with a Chia Seeds Cocktail and a chicken recipe.

Dolvett Quince has trained Justin Bieber and First Lady, Michelle Obama and is currently the trainer for the hit show “Biggest Loser,” so he definitely knows his stuff. Today, he gave Dr Oz the foods that will help get rid of the fat along with his signature dish that will have the pounds melting away in no time!

Dr Oz: Chia Seed Drink Recipe

Flush away that fat with a chia seeds cocktail. Place 1 Tbsp of chia seeds into 10 oz of water. Add in some lemon slices and agave nectar to taste. The chia seeds are high in fiber and will help fill you up.

Pumpkin & Squash Seeds Flush Fat

These seeds make for a delicious snack, but did you know that they were high in protein too? Dolvett says to eat 1 C of these seeds per week for muscle. They’re also high in magnesium. Carry them in your purse or keep in your desk for a quick and easy snack.

Daikon Fights Carbs

Daikon literally means “large root”. These are white veggies that hail from the radish family. They’re high in fiber to keep you full and contain enzymes that blast carb digestion.

Dr Oz: Dolvett’s Signature Chicken Dish to Flush Fat

1 C quinoa
2 C chicken stock
2 tomatoes
¼ C fresh basil
¼ C fresh mint

3 garlic gloves
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Celery ribs
2 chicken breasts

Be sure to use lean chicken breast and grill instead of frying. Cut up the cooked chicken and combine all ingredients. Quinoa has been proven to decrease appetite.

    Remember,seeds are BAD for people with Diverticulitis or diverticulosis. Did Dr. OZ mention this? Perhaps bringing the seeds would be better if you have these problems. By the way Dr. OZ what do you have to help with Diverticulitis or diverticulosis?

    Dr Oz, would like the full recipe of Dovett Quince’s Chicken/quinoa recipe. Ingredients are given but not the directions on how to prepare the dish.

    I can tell you how to make this recipe!

    1. combine quinoa and chicken broth in a saucepan over heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed. set aside.

    2. meanwhile grill chicken on bbq.

    3. Move quinoa to a large bowl. Dice tomatoes, garlic and celery, and add to bowl. chop basil and mint, and add to bowl.

    4. add olive oil and mix until combined.

    5. chop up chicken and place on top of salad.

    Enjoy!
