Dr Oz: Zero-Sugar Snacks
JJ Smith and Dr Oz revealed the 10-Day Tummy Tox to ease constipation and bloating and improve digestion with these amazing recipes. JJ also had the best zero-sugar snacks that would get your digestive system moving even faster. JJ explained that she likes light snacking because it prevents overeating at meals. It can also regulate sodium levels and reduce water retention in the body. It’s also a great way to get more fiber into your diet while increasing the metabolism, which could mean weight loss.

Dr Oz: Cucumber Zingers Recipe

These zero-sugar snacks are just what you need to curb cravings and boost your metabolism in between meals. (notahipster / Flickr)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- juice of 1 lemon wedge
- 1 cucumber – sliced
- cayenne pepper
Just toss all the above ingredients together and enjoy as a healthy snack. Cucumbers are loaded with water and fiber which is great for digestion. Cayenne pepper also works to help you burn some calories and rev the metabolism. The longer they sit, the better they’ll taste. Dr Oz was shocked by the spice but certainly seemed to like them. Speaking of spicy, you’ll also want to try JJ’s Spicy Popcorn.
