Dr Oz: The Wheat Belly Diet Recipes
Dr. William Davis, creator of The Wheat Belly Diet, says that just because you go wheat-free does not mean you to go taste-free, so he has recipes that are easy and delicious to shrink your wheat belly once and for all. The part is that each meal takes just 30 minutes (or less) to prepare!
Dr Oz: Wheat-Free Triple Berry Muffin Recipe
Dr. Oz challenged Dr. Davis to come up with healthy wheat-free alternatives for the meals you simply cannot live without and they started with a breakfast favorite.
Wheat-Free Baking Mix:
- 4 cups Almond meal/flour
- 1 cup Golden Flaxseeds, ground
- ¼ cup Coconut Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Soda
Triple-Berry Quick Muffin:
- ½ cup All-purpose Baking Mix
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup fresh or frozen mixed berries
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
- Sweetener equal to 1 tablespoon of sugar
- Pinch of Sea Salt

- In a medium bowl, stir together the baking mix, cinnamon, sweetener, and salt. Add in the egg and whisk to combine. Add in the milk, butter, and berries and whisk some more. Use a rubber spatula to pour the mixture into a big mug or a 10-ounce ramekin.
- Microwave on high for 2 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. (If using fresh berries, microwave for 1 1/2 minutes.) Let cool for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
Dr Oz: Bacon and Balsamic Chicken Wrap Recipe
Here is an easy sandwich you can throw together for yourself or to pack in the kids’ lunchboxes!
Here is what you need:
- 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon
- 4 ounces portobello mushrooms, cut into slices
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 4 flaxseed wraps
- 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
Here is what you need to do:
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over a medium-high temperature. Add the chicken, bacon, and mushrooms and saute for 8 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink, the bacon is fully cooked, and the mushrooms are golden. Move the chicken and bacon to a plate and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the vinegar to the mushrooms. Simmer, stirring constantlyfor 1 minute, or until the vinegar has reduced. Remove from the stove.
- Lay the wraps on a flat surface and build your sandwich. Arrange the chicken and bacon in the middle of each wrap. Top with the lettuce and mushroom mixture. Roll it up and enjoy!
Dr Oz: Creamy Shrimp Marinara with Shirataki Noodles Recipe
The next recipe is for all those pasta lovers out there!
Here is what you need:
- 1 pound peeled and deveined large shrimp, tails removed
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or canned coconut milk
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning mix
- 1 package Tofu Shirataki Spaghetti Noodles
Here is what you need to do:
- To a large skillet, add the oil, shallots and garlic and cook for 2 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add in the tomatoes, tomato paste, and seasoning mix and heat to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add in the shrimp, cover, and simmer for an additional 3 minutes, or until shrimp is opaque. Stir in the cream or coconut milk and cook for 2 more minutes or until heated through. Serve over Shirataki Noodles. Enjoy.

In the recipe for “Dr Oz: Bacon and Balsamic Chicken Wrap Recipe” the instructions say to lay out the wrap … but I do not see any recipes for making any wraps, only the baking mix for the muffin.
