Dr Oz: Clothes for Your Body Type
Okay, so you don’t look like Jennifer Aniston or Halle Berry in your clothes. On today’s show, Doctor Oz says that it doesn’t matter because you can still look good. Dr Oz spoke about Raspberry Ketones that help you to lose weight, but in the meantime, we need to look good in our clothes! With the help of Stacy Cox, Celebrity Stylist, Dr Oz shows you how you can dress to look good regardless of your body type.
Stacy told Dr Oz that one of the biggest mistakes women made when dressing is that they wear baggy clothes.
The secret to looking stylish was to minimize what you don’t like and to maximize your best assets.
Dr Oz: Big Bottom Clothes
Dr Oz showed a before picture of an audience member with a bigger bottom. She was wearing a short shirt that really accentuated her bottom half.
Stacy re-dressed her in a dark colored pant with a long jacked that covered her butt. Stacy says that in order to look slimmer, use the finger and hand rule as a measuring yard stick to make sure your shirt covers your bottom. Also, women with big butts should wear jeans/pants with a flair at the ankle to draw eyes down.
Dr Oz: Big Belly Clothes
Dr Oz showed a before image of Tammy, an audience member. Tammy wore ill-fighting jeans that cut right into her mid-section. Tammy’s shirt was too tight and accentuated her mid-section.
Stacy re-dressed Tammy in a sheath dress that brought her curves in and highlighted her thinner areas. Stacy added a blazer to the outfit to minimize the cut.
Dr Oz: Big On Top Clothes
Dr Oz showed a before image of Lauren, an audience member, with a cap sleeve shirt, which cut off arm midway and made your top half appear bigger.
Dr Oz: Ch’Arms Shapewear
Stacy re-dressed Lauren in a Ch’arms 3/4 quarter sleeve. (Ch’arms is shapewear for the arm to suck it in). You can even wear your summer sleeveless tops and wear Ch’arms underneath for a put together Fall look. .
Dr Oz: Big Thighs Clothes
Dr Oz showed a before image of Toni, another audience member. Toni wore a bulky, dark colored outfit that hid her best asset-her waist. Toni’s pants were too big and ill fitting.
Stacy re-dressed Toni in a bright colored ruched top. You can add a big necklace to draw the eyes up.
Dr Oz: Big All Over Clothing
The before image was of Gwen, an audience member, who wore too baggy clothes.
Stacy re-dressed Gwen in a skirt, sleeveless top and a yellow elastic cinched belt to accentuate her legs and waist. The yellow belt gave Gwen’s outfit a nice pop of color.
