Doctor Oz did an episode on Anti-Aging Secrets of Supermodels with Cheryl Tiegs, Beverly Johnson and Carol Alt. Here are the Supermodels secrets to get younger looking skin:
Cheryl Tiegs Acne Secrets
Cheryl Tiegs said that she had acne when she was a teenager and in her early 20’s. Tiegs said “I was sent home from a studio once because my skin was so bad they couldn’t photograph me.” Cheryl Tiegs told Dr Oz that the secret to getting rid of her acne was to clean her face with a fragrance free cleanser twice a day, applying an eye cream and oil free moisturizer. In addition, make sure you use a sunblock every day on your face and the back of your hands to prevent brown spots from forming.
Beverly Johnson’s Drugstore Bargains for Young Skin
Beverly Johnson told Dr Oz that she loves to use Petroleum Jelly all over her body (and even in her hair), to keep her skin looking young and free from wrinkles. I personally would be a bit cautious putting Petroleum Jelly
on my face, but drier areas like knees, elbows and feet can be made super soft with a bit of Petroleum Jelly
. Beverly Johnson also told Dr. Oz that her mother always made her take Cod Liver Oil Pills
, and she thinks that is why she has such great skin and nails today.
Carol Alt’s Tamanu Nut Oil for Young Skin
Carol Alt told Doctor Oz that she loves to use a Southeast Asian natural home remedy of Tamanu Nut Oil to keep her skin looking young and to prevent oil. Tamanu Nut Oil
is a well known anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. Plus, Dr Oz discussed previously how to use Tamanu Oil for Acne. I have been using Tamanu Nut Oil for over a month now, and I love the scent and the results I am seeing on my skin, so I can definitely highly recommend this Anti-Aging Secret!
Lenore Jefferies says
Just wish the Tamanu Oil would be available in South Africa. Would help with our harsh climate.
