Dr Oz: Cellulite Creams: Aminophylline Cream, Retinol Cream & Soma

Dr Oz: Soma Underwear for Cellulite

Dr Oz waged war against Cellulite today and came up with a list called Dr Oz’s Secret Weapons To Fight Cellulite which included Kelp Seaweed Capsules, Aminophylline Cream, Retinol Cream and Non-Elastic Underwear like Soma Underwear or Spanx to prevent Cellulite.  He also did another segment on Cellulite Caffeine Creams & Cellulite Massage Devices.  In your 20’s you have fairly smooth skin, but by your 30’s you may start to see some dimpling and by your 40’s it may feel like Cellulite has taken over your body.  In fact, 9 out of 10 women have some cellulite either on their thighs, buttocks, tummy or arms.  Nobody likes this “cottage cheese” appearance as Cellulite invades your fat and never goes away.

Dr Oz: What Causes Cellulite?

Dr Oz said that Cellulite forms when pockets of fat push up against connective tissue.  Women’s tissue is more porous than Dr Oz Cellulite Underwearmen’s and women also have thinner skin, which is why women tend to see more Cellulite than men.  Doctor Oz was joined by Dr Rovenia Brock or Dr Ro who said that researchers and doctors are dedicating their lives to smoothing over the problem of Cellulite.  There are some things that we can do to minimize the appearance of Cellulite, which is why they did this show today to teach us about Cellulite Remedies to minimize the appearance.

Dr Oz: Kelp Seaweed Capsules Fight Cellulite

Dr Oz’s first Cellulite Secret Weapon was Kelp, which is a type of seaweed that contains a secret ingredient called Fucoxanthin.  Kelp has been used in Japan for ages, and scientists are now studying it more and more to learn about all of its potential health benefits.  Fucoxanthin helps your body to burn the fat so that you do not get the dimpling in your skin that you see with Cellulite.  You can purchase Kelp as either Dried Kelp or Kelp Capsules.  You can also buy Kelp Strips, but Dr Ro said that you have to cut these up and pop them into boiling water to eat them.  Dr Oz mentioned that this is used in miso soup in Japanese restaurants.  You have to eat a lot of Kelp everyday to help with your Cellulite though, so it may be easiest to take a 300 mg Kelp Capsule daily.

Dr Rovenia Brock also said that you want to avoid sugar and salt, because these increase your Cellulite.  You should limit yourself to no more than 6 tsp of sugar daily and no more than 200 mg of sodium.  Also, eat lots of vegetables, because these help you to stay hydrated so that your skin will be plump and fuller and you will see less dimples in your skin.

Dr Oz: Aminophylline Cream for Cellulite

Dr Oz said that Aminophylline Cream is a new Cellulite Cream ingredient that actually works.  Aminophylline Cream has a chemical compound that is found in inhalable Asthma drugs and it coverts fat into heat.  Aminophylline Cream breaks down fat and Doctor Oz said that it is probably one of the best ingredients to look for in a Cellulite Cream.  Dr Ro said that you must use it every day to see results and to smooth over your trouble areas.  She also said that you should supercharge your Aminophylline Cream by supplementing it with Vitamin C taken orally.  You always want to fortify your body with nutrients inside to supplement your topical treatments.  Some great sources of Vitamin C include kiwis and strawberries.

Dr Oz: Retinol Cream for Cellulite

Dr Oz said that Retinol Creams are another great Cellulite fighter!  Dr Ro said that Retinol is a type of Vitamin A that fights free radicals and breaks down healthy collagen while stimulating collagen production.  You should apply Retinol Creams 1-3 times daily.  If you think of your cellulite as a cake with dimples in it, and your skin is the icing, the Retinol Creams allow you to apply a thicker coat of icing so that you can cover up the dimpled areas better.  Dr Rovenia Brock told Dr Oz that you should look for 100% Retinol with at least 100,000 IU of Vitamin A per 2 ounces.

Dr Oz: Soma Underwear & Spanx for Cellulite

Dr Oz’s final Cellulite Secret Weapon is to wear Non-Elastic Underwear.  Elastic causes bulges and accentuates the cellulite, so you do not want elastic around the leg holes of your underwear.  Dr Ro said that she loves Soma Underwear because it does not ride up or bundle, and there is no elastic around the edge.  Soma Panties have a smooth vanishing edge, so I am sure that they also look amazing under pants because you won’t see a panty line!  Another great product is to use Spanx in either the capri length or the full length because it applies an even pressure to smooth over the Cellulite.  When you wear a skirt, you can try the above-the-knee Spanx, and when you wear pants, you can go with the ankle-length Spanx.

Procellix, used it for about half a year, and it shows, but I also exercise when I have time (lunges are very good, with heavy weights in hands) and eat helthy. But before that I was using other products that did not make any difference.
You only need patience, because you need to do it every day and never stop.

They said on Dr Oz to take 300 milligrams of Kelp daily, did they mean to say MICROGRAMS? because I found sea Kelp at my local vitamin store & each pill ( they didn’t have capsules) contains 150 MICROGRAMS not milligrams and it says to take ONE pill daily!:/ kind of upset about the mis -information on a Dr show.

I purchased Kelp supplements and I was only able to find 600mg capsules so they can not be cut in half. This capsule contains 400mcg of Folic Acid. Is it safe to take one of these a day, or will it be harmful to my thyroid. Like many others who have commented I am having a hard time find tablets or capsules that are 300mg only. Kelp being a herbal supplement I am not sure about the safe dosage ranges and how long should I be taking this? Thanks.

A friend recommended that I try this Dr Max Powers brand Stretch Mark Treatment for my cellulite! I’ve heard of Dr. Max Powers brand, but I didnt know it was for ladies as well!!

Her friend was using it and was pleased with the results. I bought online – that was 3 months ago and 3 jars ago – and I will continue to use this product – I have seen results – it is not a miracle cream – you are not going to instantly have baby behind smooth skin BUT it does help.

I am a mom of 3 and have a bunch of cellulite – that I hate and makes me feel very self-conscious – THIS product gives me hope (along with exercise of course) but I have seen it working over time. I don’t think I will give it up anytime soon 🙂 it’s a “for me” product that I don’t mind splurging on –

I use it right after the shower as I’m getting ready every day!

Those asking about the dosage on the kelp. If you bottle says microgram instead of milligram the microgram is more than likely referring to the Iodine in it. It takes 1000 mcg to make 1 mg. Look closer at the ingredients and it should have them divided out showing how much is iodine and how much is kelp.

For those saying they can’t find Aminophylline cream, there is no such product you can purchase labelled “Aminophylline cream” … There are only creams which contain Aminophylline. An example is Celluthin which contains 2% Aminophylline like most other cellulite creams containing this product. I myself use Celluthin which you can find on different sites, although doing more research have found better rated products that are similar that also contain 2% Aminophylline.

t figure our way out of our consumerist addictions we will
eventually have to go cold turkey. Although everyone thought
that their city or world would cease to exist, that was not the actuality.
And these changes will not suit human life as it is.
