Dr. Oz: Dave Lieberman’s Heart Healthy Quinoa Meatballs Recipe

Doctor Oz and Dave Lieberman, author of The 10 Things You Need to Eat: And More Than 100 Easy and Delicious Ways to Prepare Them, played a game called “Blind Taste” to see if anyone could guess what ingredient Dave Lieberman uses in his meatball recipe to make it more heart healthy.

Quinoa is one of David Lieberman’s 10 things you  need to eat, because it is packed with protein… plus Quinoa has been around for 1000’s of years which is interesting.  In Dave Lieberman’s Quinoa Meatballs Recipe, he uses Quinoa in place of breadcrumbs so that his meatball and linguine dish has 1/2 the calories and 1/4 the saturated fat of a regular spaghetti and meatball recipe!  At 595 calories, I cannot wait to try Dave Lieberman’s Quinoa Meatballs Recipe!
