Dr Oz: DJ Khaled Promoting Good Health
Dr Oz was thrilled to welcome a man who has become obsessed with helping everyone get healthier around him. He wanted to come on the show to reveal his secrets to health and positivity. DJ Khaled is a hip-hop mogul, but his rise to fame didn’t come easy. His father came to America from Palestine with $20 in his pocket. DJ Khaled learned the importance of hard work from his parents and chased his dream of becoming a DJ in Miami, as part of the exploding music scene.
He was hired by a local radio station and spent his free time handing out his own mixed tape on the streets, hoping for a big break. In 2006, DJ Khaled made it big with his hit single “We Takin’ Over.” Khaled then went on to release eight hit albums with artists like Drake, T-Pain, and Lil Wayne. President Obama even walked out to his hit “All I Do Is Win” at a White House Correspondents Dinner.
Dr Oz: DJ Khaled Keys To Success
He’s now become a Snap Chat sensation, with his team claiming he averages 10 million viewers per post. DJ Khaled walked out on set, gold chains around his neck swinging, with a bag in each hand. Khaled first explained to Dr Oz that when he was growing up, the keys to success were hidden from him, which is why he believes it’s important for kids to know what they are, no matter how big or small. For example, as a kid he drank nothing but soda and now he only drinks water.
DJ Khaled just released his ninth album, and it became the number one album in the country. Khaled often says “bless up” believing that the more blessings you give, the more you will get back. He believes his attitude and positivity comes from God “because he gave me life.” Something as simple as drinking water each day can not only improve your health, but your life overall, because it can also save you money in the long run.
Khaled then explained that Arianna Huffington was the one who actually taught him the importance of getting enough rest and how much of a difference it can make for your life overall.
Dr Oz: DJ Khaled Snapchat Pep Talks
Dr Oz then showed one of DJ Khaled’s famous Snapchats, proving how much Khaled loves to garden and take care of his flowers. Dr Oz cracked up laughing as Khaled spoke to the flowers, telling them how much he loved them. He pretty seriously stressed the importance of giving flowers gratitude and love to your flowers every day, and your mom as well!
Khaled also loves his treadmill and does “treadmill talk” on Snapchat to motivate himself and the world. He tries to do at least 30 minutes a day on the treadmill. Perhaps his biggest phrase of all is “they don’t want you to…” which he uses to motivate himself and drive himself forward. “Stay away from they,” Dj Khaled said, because they’re the ones who try to bring you down.
Dr Oz: Peptides & Antioxidants For Firmer, Younger Skin
Before the end of his show, Dr Oz welcomed Dr Doris Day, a dermatologist who was excited to reveal ingredients to younger looking skin that literally hides your age. Collagen is a protein found in the natural tissue of your body. Approximately 75% of your skin is made of collagen, which is what gives it the firmness you desire. To help cheat your age, you need peptides and antioxidants.
Peptides and antioxidants help prevent the breakdown of collagen while repairing damage that has already been done. Personally, Doris really likes to use Number 7 Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Serum. Women between the ages of 35 and 45 put the product to the test to see how it would work for them and were absolutely thrilled with the results! You should apply it twice a day underneath your moisturizer.
