She used to have diabetes and high blood pressure, even while taking blood pressure medicine, but now she has neither! 1. Bison Instead of Beef – Bison is low in sodium, fat grams and calories. DoraLee cooked a beef burger and a bison burger to show us how much more grease there was in the beef burger… I am definitely going to be looking for bison at the grocery this evening!
2. Weigh Your Meat – Make sure you weigh your meat and only eat 3-4 ounces per meal.
3. Library Card – What a brilliant idea! You can checkout books on nutrition, serving sizes, health and even get exercise videos to try before buying them!
