Doctor Oz re-aired his show about Anti-Cancer Superfoods Grocery List with David Katz, which is a must read if you missed it. One of the questions that people seem to be most curious about from the Ultimate Anti-Cancer show was what was in Karen’s Anti-Cancer Green Drink. Well she said that she drinks 16 ounces of a green drink made out of kale, chard, collard greens, lemon with the rind, ginger and celery. Now the only thing we are missing is exact proportions. Karen, if you are out there, please let us know the measurements that you use in your Anti-Cancer Green Drink! If I had to guess, I would think that you would use equal parts of kale, chard, and collard greens, a bit less celery, an entire lemon, and just a touch of ginger. If anyone experiments, please share with everyone what you have found works. You could also try out Dr. Oz’s Green Drink Recipe.
My favorite portion of the show was about all of the fabulous Natural Home Remedies. For example, chicken soup makes a great Flu Home Remedy. Is apple cider vinegar a good Heartburn Home Remedy, it turns out that Dr. Oz can’t find any evidence for it to work. And of course this very interesting PMS Home Remedy. I want to know if anyone has tried the PMS tea home remedy, and if so, did you find it helpful?
