Save $600 Per Year Shopping at Big Box Stores

With the help of Shopsmart editor Lisa Lee Freeman, he has created the perfect list of items to save you a lot of time and money on organic chicken, contact lenses and more.
Dr Oz: Warehouse Store Brand Deals
Lisa Lee Freeman says you can save a ton of money at Warehouse Stores, but the number one secret to getting the best deals at stores like Sam’s Club, Costco, and BJ’s is to buy the store brand. She says she did several price scans and found that you can save and extra 25% by buying the store brand,
That is on top of the already amazing deal that you get just from shopping there in the first place. She cautions to be careful when it comes to buying things like produce bulk because those foods go bad, causing you to waste money rather save.
Dr Oz: Multi-Vitamin Warehouse Savings
Daily Multi-Vitamin – Lisa says that the great thing about buying vitamins in bulk is that you take them every day and they have a long shelf life. Purchasing a year’s worth of pills (2 bottles, 200 pills in each) will cost you $18 each ($36 total) at a big box store. Buying the same amount in bottles of 50 pills each at your regular drugstore will cost you $10 each ($80 total). That’s a huge savings for something you know you are going to use every day.
- Choosing a Multi-Vitamin – Even though Dr. Oz wants you to get the best deal on your vitamins, he has some guidelines when choosing the best one for your body.
- Find a multi-vitamin that has Vitamins A, B, C, D, and E
- Avoid mega dosing because that is too much for your body, so look for 100% Daily Value on the label for each vitamin.
Dr Oz: Organic Chicken Breast Saves $400 Per Year
Organic Chicken Breast – Dr. Oz says that many people complain because he often recommends buying organic food because it is more expensive than non-organic food, but after hearing what Lisa Lee Freeman has to say about purchasing Organic Chicken Breast at a big box store, you won’t complain anymore.
Buying Organic Chicken in bulk is a very big way to save a lot of money because you can freeze it for up to 12 months and it will still taste fresh. Lisa explains that if you have a family of 4, buying Organic Chicken Breast at a big box store can save you $400 a year. Dr. Oz feels very passionate about purchasing organic chicken because it has been raised without added hormones or pesticides and if you can save money while doing so, it just makes sense.
