Doctor Oz played a basketball style game on the Dr Oz show in a game called “Vitamin Toss-Up.” Vitamins guard us against many deadly diseases. How much do you know about Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Vitamin K and Vitamin D? And do you know what food contains these vitamins?
Vitamin E Sources
Vitamin E protects your lungs from polluted air and protects your skin from UV light rays. Sunflower seeds are a great source of Vitamin E!
Vitamin C Sources
Vitamin C helps your body to heal a cut and can also lower your cancer risk. Red bell peppers are a great source of Vitamin C!
Vitamin K Sources
Dr Oz said that Vitamin K is sometimes called the “King of Clots” because it can prevent excessive bleeding and bruising. Kale has a bunch of Vitamin K.
Vitamin D Sources
Vitamin D helps with many health aspects – strong teeth, bones, autoimmune diseases and high blood pressure to just name a few. Shrimp is a great source of Vitamin D.
Has anyone else noticed that the prices on Dr Oz’s games have become much better!!! It used to be that his guests would get pens or journals, but this week it has been a lot of vacations!
