Dr Oz: A Bottle Of Water Every Morning
Cameron Diaz’s latest project “The Longevity Book” is getting a lot of attention, just like her first visit to Dr Oz when she chugged an entire water bottle full of water right there on the show. She continues to start her day with an entire bottle of water! Dr Oz challenged Cameron to do it all over again, and this time he did it right alongside her!
Regarding longevity, Cameron explained that we are all aging and there’s nothing we can do about it. “Aging, for me, is living,” Cameron said.

Cameron recognized that we are the only ones that can take care of our bodies and how we age. She wants to encourage women to embrace aging and be kinder to themselves as well as other women. Cameron is 43-years-old and looks phenomenal! She wants to “let every woman off the hook” and allow them to grateful for their age.
As for plastic surgery or other beauty treatments, Cameron has nothing against it. She claimed that if those procedures will make you feel better about yourself, then go for it, but it doesn’t change how old the cells within your body are. Cameron pointed out that we will all be older longer than we ever were young, if we’re lucky.

Cameron Diaz recently married Benji Madden, and admitted that she never imagined she would meet her husband at age 41. She recognized that Benji is a true blessing in her life, and said he’s certainly learning a lot, health-wise by being with her. One of the five pillars of aging well has to do with loving relationships and meaningful connections, so she was thrilled to be able to fulfill that.
Dr Oz: How Your Body Ages + Aging Factors
Cameron admitted that she loves science which is why she wanted to learn more about what happens to our bodies as we get older. That’s the basis of her book. Dr Oz explained that as cells begin to grow and divide, they grow and divide faster, which rejuvenates your skin and body. As we grow older, that process starts to slow down or sometimes comes to a complete stop.
Cameron outlined three important factors that determine how well your cells divide: genes, environment, and choices.
One of the most important ways to fight aging and maintain good health is to maintain good heart health. The first way to do that is to cut salt out of your diet. Cameron likes to use lemon to replace salt! As for Cameron eats to stay healthy and lean, she loves vegetables like kale, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and carrots. As for fruits, she enjoys berries, peaches, avocado, and lemons. She loves fish and will often eat it for breakfast.
As for exercise, she loves intervals to get her heart rate up. Whether she’s doing jumping jacks or dancing, it’s all about getting her heart rate up for about 30 seconds, before resting for 30 seconds and repeating it for five minutes.
Dr Oz: Simple Tips To Age Gracefully
Cameron tries to get a minimum of six hours of sleep, or as much as eight a night. She also likes wearing sunglasses to protect her eyeballs from the sun. Another surprisingly simple tip to age gracefully was to wash your hands. Even more important was having a positive attitude, because your outlook can truly affect your body on a cellular level. Those who accept aging, tend to live seven and a half years longer!
