Good Morning America’s Resolution Revolution series continued with a look at an inspiring and motivational fitness trainer profiled by Cameron Mathison. Get to know Angela Davis, known for her work as a SoulCycle instructor.

Celebrity SoulCycle trainer Angela Davis visited Good Morning America with her inspirational message about how to achieve any goal you have in mind. (Ron Kloberdanz / Shutterstock.com)
Davis’s celebrity SoulCycle client list has included David Beckham, Vanessa Hudgens, Busy Philipps and even Oprah Winfrey, who shared her experience on Instagram.
“We come in this room and there’s no judgment. There’s no limitations,” Davis said. “What I love about SoulCycle is it’s a community.”
Good Morning America: Urban Fitness 911
Clients say that she is motivational and spiritual, helping you change your life from the inside out. Davis also works with kids in the program Urban Fitness 911. Founder Veronica Everett-Boyce said that it gives teens experiences they otherwise might never have.
Two teens in the program lost a total of 160 pounds. They also feel more inspired thanks to Angela, who has helped improved their self-esteem. Cameron Mathison even gave the bike-based workout a try.
GMA: Soul Scholarships
Angela Davis joined Robin Roberts and a class of motivated students in the Good Morning America studio. Davis spoke about Soul Scholarships, which would gift more than 100 classes to “underserved teenagers.”
Davis promised mentoring, classes, and tools on healthy eating to coach young people to make the best of their lives. In addition, the trainer is working on a book to continue inspiring others.

Davis also shared her best tips for achieving your goals.
Write it down, it keeps you honest. “You have to visualize: what is your dream? What is your goal? And then write it down and put it where you can see it. …You have to see it before you see it in order to receive it.”
Make good choices so choices make a better you. “We make choices every day. …If you made a bad choice, you have an opportunity right around the corner to make another choice.”
Don’t commit to an exercise you hate. “You have to find joy in movement. …You have to love it to continue to do it.”
Find a community for support inside and out. “I love the saying ‘Teamwork makes the dream work.’ So find your community, find your village, find your tribe.”
