Good Morning America: Jennifer Lopez
Good Morning America’s Cameron Mathison visited Jennifer Lopez to learn about the superstar’s latest project, Body Lab. We know her as a singer, dancer, actress, and entertainer. But her latest video is a commercial for Body Lab.
“Body Lab is a line of supplements and protein shakes and all kinds of things where you can enhance your workouts, enhance everything that you’re doing,” Jennifer Lopez said. “You have to work hard. There’s no magic pill.”
GMA: Body Lab Designed for Women
In addition to its nutritional supplement line of products, Body Lab has an app and website, and it obviously has an A-list spokesperson. It was created by and for women, because the female metabolism is different than its male counterpart. Many supplements are designed with men in mind and do not necessarily address the needs of women.
Lopez said she starts the morning with a Body Lab supplement protein shake, customized with fresh ingredients like berries, lemon juice, and honey. Behind the plan is a staff of experts, like doctors and scientists.
“We need to have sustained protein throughout the day. Otherwise we can actually lose muscle mass,” said Dr Amy Heaton. “It’s not just about going to the gym. That’s why the proteins are really important.”
Good Morning America: Jennifer Lopez Body Lab Plan
Lopez agreed, saying you notice when your skin starts sagging or your body gets softer. She makes sure to get in her workout every day and stick to a healthy plan. She encourages her kids to eat vegetables and greens, getting them off to a healthy start as well. Lopez felt that it was something that she did right as a mother, by setting a good example for them early in life.
The Good Morning America anchor team was impressed with Lopez’s latest effort. I have to think that her iconic status and global popularity will help to make Body Lab a big success.
