Doctor Oz was asked by a woman, during the Wheel of Wellness section of Ask Dr. Oz, how important is washing your hands during the summer? Aren’t the main months for the cold and flu the winter?
Dr Oz said that plenty of people get horrible colds and the flu in the summer. It is always important to wash your hands well. Here are Dr Oz’s hand washing tips:
Dr Oz – Hand Washing Tips
1. Germs pass from your mouth to another person’s mouth or nose directly (like in the case of coughing or sneezing) or through your fingers (hence why we must wash our hands always).
2. Wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap, but it does not have to be an anti-bacterial or anti-microbial soap.
3. Clean your hands up to your wrists and get inbetween your fingers.
