Dr Oz: Blue & Black Or White & Gold Dress
At the end of his show, Dr Oz reminded everyone when two years ago, everyone on the internet freaked out about a dress. Was it blue and black or white and gold? No matter how many times I looked at the image, I most certainly always saw blue and black, but others swore they ever only saw gold.
Dr Oz: Color Consistency & Strawberry Photo

Well now there’s a new image sweeping the internet. It’s an image of strawberries on top of what appears to be a cake. Dr Oz showed his audience the image and asked who all saw red. I was one of the ones who looked at the strawberries and definitely saw that they were red. Dr Oz then magnified the picture to show that it’s black , white, and green with absolutely no red in it at all.
It’s called color consistency and it happens because we’ve seen strawberries before and our brain knows they are red. So our eyes make us seem like something is there when it really isn’t. Crazy!
