Dr Oz: Saddlebag Workout with Geralyn Coopersmith from Equinox

Dr Oz brought Geralyn Coopersmith, an Equinox Fitness Expert, onto the Doctor Oz Show to teach everyone a new workout called the Saddlebag Workout.  The Saddlebag area, where your body (torso) meets the thigh, is especially problematic for women as they are prone to holding excess weight in that location.  The Saddlebag area is one of the most stubborn areas in which to get rid of the fat or to gain muscle tone.  Geralyn Coopersmith said that in addition to watching your diet and doing cardio 30 minutes every day, the following 4 moves will tone your Saddlebag Muscles in no time!    Dr Oz's Saddlebag Workout

Dr Oz: Saddlebag Workout

1.  Tush Toner

Geralyn showed Dr Oz how to do the Tush Toner move, which is a basic plie like we all learned back in ballet class – they are essentially little squats that dancers do with their toes pointing out.

2.  Saddlebag Sculptor

Geralyn’s second move is called the Saddlebag Sculptor in which you lift one leg out to the side while you reach both arms straight up in the air.  Then switch legs and lift the other leg out to the side while you lift both arms straight up into the air.

3.  Derriere Definer

The third move is called the Derriere Definer and you push one leg back and touch your toe in the back while you pump your arms up.  Then switch sides and repeat!

4.  Booty Burner

Geralyn’s final move is called the Booty Burner and it basically looks like you are doing the Running Man, but with one leg stationary.
