Dr. Oz talked with Suzanne, a woman who used to think her health was too far gone to change. Now, she’s a personal trainer.
Suzanne has been battling weight her whole life. In nursing school, her weight really started to hit its highest. When she got married, she weighed 225 pounds. She loved crunchy and salty foods in particular. Eventually, her weight ballooned to 300 pounds. One day, she went to the doctor and he said she was on the cusp of having high blood pressure and being diabetic. Suzanne realized she was holding herself back.
She started walking and eventually walking led to running. Throughout her weight loss journey, she was always watching Dr. Oz. The tips on Dr. Oz helped her become more healthy. She ended up losing an incredible 100 pounds.

In Dr. Oz’s studio, Suzanne told Dr. Oz her cholesterol, blood pressure, and blood sugar are all normal. She felt like her life is completely transformed.
When she first started going to the gym, she felt awkward because she didn’t feel like she fit in. But she joined the right gym and kept going until she made the change.
Dr. Oz showed several pictures of Suzanne competing in races and the amazing transformation in her weight. She went from being dragged through the races by others to helping others through their races as a certified personal trainer.

Dr. Oz showed a video of people Suzanne has helped along the way thanking her for what she did. In the special video, they told her how much weight they’ve lost and how much her help has meant to them. One person lost 60 pounds and another lost 80 with Suzanne’s help.
Suzanne said she wouldn’t be here without those people and she was grateful for the chance to give back.
