Dr Oz: Tummy Tox Green Smoothie Recipe
If there’s anything JJ Smith is known for, it’s her smoothies. So it’s no surprise that while she was telling Dr. Oz about zero-sugar snacks and fennel tea on her 10 Day Tummy Tox segment, that she also shared a green smoothie that was specifically designed for constipation. Her Banana Blueberry Smoothie makes for a great desert option that is way healthier than ice cream or a milkshake.
Of course, this recipe has flax seeds in it, because she includes flax seeds in just about every smoothie for a boost of fiber and to keep things moving. Dr Oz: Banana Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

JJ Smith’s 10-Day Tummy Tox Blueberry Banana Smoothie is a great way to rev your metabolism and enjoy a sweet treat without the guilt. (quinnanya / Flickr)
- 1 C water
- 1 frozen banana – peeled
- 1 tbsp flaxseeds
- 2 handfuls greens
- 1 pear
- 1 C frozen blueberries
Dr Oz: Tummy Detox Green Smoothie
- Place all ingredients into a blender
- Make sure the blender lid is in place then blend
- Blend until smooth then enjoy
