Dr Phil: Nick Gordon’s Intervention — Did He Do CPR On Bobbi Kristina?

Dr Phil: Nick Gordon Intervention

Dr Phil landed an exclusive interview/intervention with Nick Gordon, the distraught boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was discovered unresponsive in the bathtub of her home in January 2015. For the past six weeks, she has reportedly been in a coma, with family members by her side in the hospital.

But her longtime friend, confidante, and once-rumored husband Nick Gordon has not been seen at the hospital, and according to some reports, he may be a suspect in an ongoing criminal investigation into the events that led to Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization.

Nick and his mother Michelle spoke out publicly for the first time since the January 31 incident that made headlines for its eerie similarities to the death of Bobbi Kristina’s mother, the singer Whitney Houston, three years earlier. Dr Phil’s conversation with this young man evolved from an interview into an intervention, but would Nick Gordon agree to get help?

Dr Phil: Nick Gordon Afraid of Losing Bobbi Kristina

“I lost the most legendary singer ever, and I’m scared to lose Krissy,” Nick said tearfully. Krissy is his nickname for Bobbi Kristina. Nick and Krissy were raised together in the same home, though they are not related.

Dr Phil suggested that Nick seek medical assistance so that he can help himself and the people close to him that he cares about. “I’ve been so strong for so many people for so long,” Nick Gordon said. But he took issue with Dr Phil telling him he needed to “man up.”

Dr Phil: “My Heart Hurts”

“My pain is horrible,” Nick said to Dr Phil as his mother clutched his arm in support. “My heart hurts. I have panic attacks.” Dr Phil asked about Nick’s threats of suicide, and Nick began to say that he is worried about what he might do if Krissy were to lose her life. At one point, he became so overwhelmed that he stormed out of the room.

“I want to let all you guys know I did everything possible in the world to protect them,” Nick said. Dr Phil called Nick a good guy and said that he deserves the chance to get some help after being through some difficult times in his life.

Dr Phil: Did Nick Gordon Perform CPR?

Dr Phil also said that Nick’s mother Michelle asked him to help Nick. “I just can’t lose Krissy,” Nick said, initially resisting the opportunity. His mom advised him to keep pray while still making the most of an opportunity to get some help dealing with everything.

In recalling the events on the day Bobbi Kristina was found in the bathtub, Gordon’s version of events included himself performing CPR on Krissy. However, the Houston family gave a statement to Dr Phil disputing this and pointing out that it differs from the version of events in the police report. The Houston family has also been critical of Gordon, implying that he had something to do with Krissy’s condition.

Good for Nick’s mother for reaching out to get her son some help. Nick Gordon seems like he could use the chance to collect himself after everything that’s been going on. Do you think that Nick Gordon can put his life back together?
