Dr. Oz says that while many people are following the Paleo Diet as a way to lose weight and get healthy, others have been using it to treat disease. He introduced two viewers who claim the Paleo Diet has changed their lives. Christine says she struggled with thyroid issues for many years, but could never get the relief she hoped for from taking medication. After a bit of research into natural alternatives she found the Paleo Diet and says she feels better now than she did in her 20’s and has even lost 35 pounds! Christine says her entire family eats healthier now and her favorite staple to always have on hand is homemade beef jerky.
