I am not a chocolate freak so I won’t make those but all the others recipes definately interest me, but I have never heard of “old bay spice” . Where does one find that. I live in Canada so maybe it is something we just don’t have.

According to Dr Oz, you cook the pizza popcorn like this: “Pop 3 tbsp unpopped corn kernels, no oil necessary. Place in large bag and sprinkle on pizza toppings. Shake until popcorn is evenly covered.”

I tried the pizza popcorn and the seasonings do not stay on the popcorn–they fall to the bottom no matter how much I shake it! any suggestions?

what is the preparation for the truffles and what is a serving size?
love the pizza popcorn, pulled out the old air popper and got perfect popcorn even using the less expensive brand.
oh and the apples and ricotta are great.
where is the dip recipe for the blue chips?
what besides the green olives go with the procuitto/mozarella wrap?

for the popcorn- to get the ingredients to stay on, I was thinking of some non-fat/calorie cooking spary. just a light coating. i figured i cook eggs and other foods in it,so it’s not unsafe to eat. plus I don’t taste it on my food after i cook it so it won’t make the popcorn taste gross. just an idea.

I popped 3 Tbsp of popcorn kernels. I did not get 8 cups of popcorn. I got 4 cups. The seasoning mix is delicious but it falls to the bottom of the bag. I was so excited about this recipe. But I was disappointed after I made it.

The apple, ricotta, and almonds is great!

We tried your pizza popcorn recipe – it is a disaster – all of the ingredients fall to the bottom of the bag. What kind of a shell game did you play with the audience when you passed this popcorn out to them? I hope the other information you give out on your show is more reliable.

Made the peanut butter banana quesadillas and they turned out great. Took two to work with me today. Also, the onion ring recipe had no baking instructions so I prepared them and baked them at 350 for 20 minutes. They tasted pretty good considering I am used to deep fried everything. If you are hoping for the deep fried taste, you won’t like the recipe. As for the popcorn recipe, going to try that tonight. Kinda bummed to hear the toppings all fall to the bottom of the bag. Lisa’s cooking spray idea sounds like a good idea. I’ll try it. I really think Dr. Oz gets a bad rap, a good example is Doug’s comment. Believe me, anything having to do with Oprah Winfrey I normally would dismiss as complete garbage, however, Oprah is a inept celebrity who made billions out of pure luck. Dr Oz on the other hand is unbelievably intelligent and has the charisma to be effective in helping save lives every single day.

I looked up other baked onion ring recipes:
Slice the onion into rings. dip rings in whipped egg. then dip rings in mixed cereal and spice then bake rings on non stick sprayed bake sheet at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.

This is for Jen fromCanada ~ Old Bay is usually in the baking/spice section of your grocery store. Check with store manager, he may have it stocked elsewhere in the store or is easily able to get it for you.

Just googled this for you Jen…McCormick and Company makes this. It contains, per google, mustard, paprika, celery seed, bay leaf, black and red pepper, cinnamon, cloves, all spice, nutmeg, cardamon, salt, mace & ginger.Sad to say for you any way, it is made here in the U.S….I’d buy it, ship and send it to you for you if possible. The amount in recipe is small so perhaps if you added a pinch of a couple of above mentioned spices it would be ok…not sure but that’s what I’d do if I wasn’t able to locate Old Bay.Or, hey, contact McCormick and purchase via email ! :o) That’s your best bet yet!

For those who want recipe instructions, go to DrOz.com and in the search box, type in the name of the recipe in which you’re interested.
Re: the popcorn-I don;t see how adding a little popcorn oil before popping will add enough calories to negatively affect one’s weightloss program. You can also get Orville Redenbachers’
Buttery Flavored Popcorn Topping at WalMart and add a little of that before adding the toppings. Voila!!! No more toppings on the bag’s bottom.
